An orthoptist is an allied health professional trained in vision and eye movement assessment. At FVG, this expertise helps us understand how you use vision in everyday activities and identify practical low vision supports.
Our focus is practical: understand the person, work with their goals and make recommendations that can be used in daily life. We collaborate with families, support workers and allied health professionals where appropriate.
